Last Thursday, Ramble's cub scout troop went to a local cemetary and placed flags at the graves of our military men and women who served our country. It was a chilly, overcast day but kind of fitting for the task they did. Ramble understood why he was helping to do this and was respectful as he placed flags. We found graves from men and women who served our country in the 1800's, WWI, WWII, Vietnam, Korea, 1st Gulf War, Iraq, Afganistan, and others that just had a symbol signifying they served. There were Captains, Colonels, Pilots, Lieutenants, and Nurses to name a few. Thank you to all who served and continue to serve our country to keep our liberties and freedoms alive today.
We had some friends over on Monday for Memorial Day. It was fun to let the kids play and the grown ups talk. Thanks for coming!!
