What Kids Do
Yesterday I heard giggling and turned around to see Raptor drop sitting onto the floor and then giggling. I think little kids' rears must be made of rubber to bounce and not hurt! Ramble watched for a minute--it was as if he was trying to decide if he was too old to join in. He decided he wasn't.
At the end of a fun day of swimming, the sun came through just right and we had fun taking pictures and posing.
Little feet. I love to hear little feet running through the house, jumping up and down, and watching them run around the yard. I'll be so sad when these little feet aren't so little any more.

The kids had a lot of fun on the slip and slide!

Fun in the sun!

On July 25, our ward celebrated Pioneer Day. The kids got to dress up and had a bike parade. They made butter by shaking it in a canning jar, played pioneer games, and learned more about the Saints who crossed the plains in the 1840's. For Family Home Evening, we had a lesson about the pioneers and laid out on the floor the size of wagon they would have had to put all of their things in. It's amazing how small the wagons were for an entire family's things. We also fried corn meal mush and ate it with honey.
Raptor found Rambler's boots after the parade and wore them around the house.
Ready to be a pioneer!
Chocolate pudding is YUMMY!
Last day of swimming lessons in July. The teachers turned on the 'volcano' and the kids all got to swim and play in the water.
